Ach Pri Tvu’ah, second section, with Chassidic droshim on the Torah by the Admor Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Liska, brought to the publisher by his grandson Rabbi Zeev Wolf of Liska. [1], 88 leaves. Stefanski Chassidut 41. Approbation by the Admor Divrei Haim of Sanz. Old binding, leather spine, it seems that the cloth has peeled away. Stains, lone moth damage at the end of the book, overall good condition.


Stamps and notes with the name “Avraham ben Elazar of Tzfat” and “Baruch Yafeh of Jerusalem, settled in Tzfat” and “Yisrael Mordechai HaKohen Edelman.”


The Admor Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Friedman of Liska (1808-1874) was the son of Rabbi Aharon. He founded Liska chassidut and was a Hungarian Chassidic sage of the 19th century. He was the rabbi of Rabbi Yeshayle of Krestirer, who would sign his letters “secretary of Rabbi of Liska”.
